Many teen meth users say the drug makes them feel invincible and energized, giving them escape from their daily experiences. Unfortunately, many teens do not consider the extreme danger and let the experimental drug take control. Often, meth users are hooked immediately. Teen addicts tend to drop out of school and run away from home, often living on the streets with strangers or older meth addicts.
And methamphetamine heightens sexuality, and users often participate in sexual activity outside their norms. They’re also prone to frequent, unprotected sexual activity that results in pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV and hepatitis.

The pleasure of a meth high disappears before the concentration in the blood falls significantly, leading users to try to keep the high by ingesting more.
